Opinions? Pics of clear LX Tails on a GT?

sorry! no times. never even been to a track . just kinda got into the whole performance thing in the last couple months... p.s. canadian winters suck! i only know of 1 track in all of alberta (where i live)
i was thinking of getting one of those dash mount things that estimates hp and 1/4 mile etc but now i'm thinking its just a toy....

like the clear. i really like the clean look for any car actually, but it looks nice w/ clear. cheese graders r too outdated i think.

opinion? it's not my taste, I also have a white mustang but I wouldn't put those on my car. I do like the Cobra style tails... but to each his own though. What's important is if YOU like them though. :thumbs:

yep, look good on a white car, nothing else.

i think the ol' GT lights look best on a white car though. Unlike mine the red on red on red wasnt cuttin it haha

A white car would be the ONLY car they would look half decent on.

I think they look OK, better then cheese graters but you could have just bought the LX tail lights and they would have looked alot better, better yet you should have bought the smoked LX tailights then it would have looked awesome that MY OPINION!

What part of Alberta do you live in? I'm in Calgary. I know theres at LEAST 3 tracks in Alberta though. As for those GTECH things you are talkin about, they work alright, but they are no substitute for the real thing.

i live in red deer. only track i think ive ever seen is the budweiser one just outside of edmonton.

They changed the name of Bud park...It's now owned by Castrol

Theres also Race City here in Calgary, and there's another track in Medicine Hat. Theres a 4th one being built in Rimbey aswell.

ive never really looked into going to the track yet. but i'd like to this summer. how much does it cost? any requirements (like safety etc)?

I'm not sure how much it costs in Edmonton, but in Calgary, its 25 dollars to race your car. Basicly, just make sure your car isn't falling apart and that the battery is held down securely. You will also need a proper helmet. If you don't have one, you can rent one at the track for an additional $5.

They're much better than cheesegraters. Still not my thing, but you can pull it off with a white car.

I like them on white and bright silver cars, that's it. If you could somehow make the reflective part on the bottom red then they would be 100% legal...
