I'm about to remove the smog pump from my vehicle and I've read numerous times that the holes behind the heads need to be plugged as well as the hole in the exhaust. My question:
Instead of removing all of the hoses and crap and then having to plug all the holes, what is stopping me from removing ONLY the pump, and then leaving everything else in place and simply plugging up the hoses.
That way everything is still plugged up and I won't have to buy any bolts to plug up the heads and what not.
Will this work?
