Will 24lbs be enough? And bench my setup of parts coming in!

I don't know if I can lock up a set of decent heads yet, because im looking local. But I expect to find a ported set of GT40Ps or box stock twisted wedge heads. I also have a TFS stage 2 cam that would be going in with the heads along with a tune.

So let me know if you think the 24lbs will support the heads and cam and what you think the numbers or quarter will be after the above parts and then after the heads and cam setup.

Personally, I think that if you don't do heads, you're wasting your money on most of the rest of that stuff. Exhaust and gears are great, but the rest of it won't net you much gain at all and the 24's will be significant overkill without the ability to utilize the extra fuel.

every mod on that list is a complete waste of time unless you get heads. (except for the gears)

save your money, or upgrade to the heads at the same time.

if in fact you do waste (sorry spend) all that money on those mods without heads, stock 19# injectors will be more than plenty. 300 horse is around when you want to change. I've got non ported gt40p heads, and a ported explorer intake, and 19# injectors are plenty. I'd upgrade to 24's with an alum head swap or ported gt40/p heads

Im getting a set of Ps and im going to need time to port the intake and heads, im just going to do a gasket match myself. Im wondering if ill be fine to install the heads and cam without a tune. Thats my big concern. Im trying to do all this for around $1500 installed. So I've been snagging parts when I can and finding cheap labor\doing it myself. The problem is that a tune is at least $300 pretty much wherever you go. Right now the car is stock with some rusted flowmasters and a set of 273s. It is so ungodly slow right now I would be scared racing pretty much any newer v6.

24s will be overkill without heads... Even so you may still be able to run 19s if you bump the fuel pressure. You really don't need a tune for the 300 or so Hp you might be pushing.
