I did the same deal...the entire ignition kit...its was damn near 300.00 though...Im sure you can get them separate..
I was looking to go the same route, just pcs but PD states the coil is to "hot" for stock wires..you can take that FWIW...could just be hype on their behalf? If I was in the market for a TFI I'd go with theirs...Its beefier and has more dwell.

From what I read, Crane makes all Ford OEM ingition parts so I would say you cant go wrong with them...The OEM stuff is pretty stout and is definately reliable...
PD may be a step up but you pay the price...I looked at Jacobs too...they had some issues...Never read anything but positive about PD stuff...Never had a lick of trouble with mine in 4 yrs...
Heres what you get in the kit...minus the looms, those are extra..

I ordered it all. RIO, ..That TFI does not look like ours for the 94/95 though....

Ya it is....may not look it in the pic...but its the the right one..The pins for the Fox one are on the side I believe??

What did the kit cost if you dont mind...Think I pd 276.00 shipped...thats including the wire looms to boot...

Sure. Thanks for reply. I am pretty sure I paid $251 for everything total. They have a discount now. That doesn't include wire looms. I will update if I find it is different. BTW, I thought our TFI was on the pass side of the inner engine bay? Is this incorrect?

Stock OEM stuff here, too. It's more capable than most people think.

In other Ford's I have ran the Blaster TFI and it worked great. If I ever have to upgrade, that's probably what it will be.

Yeah stock coil is good

MSD:
Blaster TFI coil
Cap & Rotor

Performance Distributors:
Dyna-Mod TFI Module
Livewires (black)

AutoZone:
Black plastic wire looms. $7.00 for the whole set. You just have to trim the bumps to accommodate the 10mm wires.

I decided to use the MSD Blaster coil instead of the Screamin' Demon for 2 reasons:

1) The MSD coil puts out 48,000 volts. The Screamin' Demon only puts out 45,000 volts.

2) Ths MSD coil is $20 cheaper.

The results of this survey, so far, is interesting. I've seen many posts here that blasts MSDs products, but yet it is the most widely used ignition product even though its old. Makes you go uhmmmm.

MSD for me

Just because it is the most widely used does not mean it is related to reliability. It may just mean it looks perty. Quality is not always in the numbers. We have heard a lot of problems with MSD. I have heard no complaints of the motorsport or existing ignitions...
