What are the biggest tires/widest wheels i can run on a 94 cobra?

Biggest rear is a 17X11 with 7" of BS, biggest tire I know that will fit is a 315-35-17. I'm not sure on the front.

I have 17x10.5 on the back with 315/35 and 17x9 up front with 255/40

Some people can run 265's w/o rubbing, and some can run 275's w/o rubbing. I couldnt. 255 is the biggest you can safely go. Thats not to say you WILL rub with anything wider though.

Can i fit a 315 on a 18x10.5 on the rear?

Yep.


But 315's for 18 are EXPENSIVE.

EDIT: I think most 18's come in 18x10 though. But it will still fit.

thanks a lot for the help im looking at some 18x10.5 saleen style that just came fiout my father was worryed about rubbing issues but you have confirmed it

It does take a little work to get them to fit. I had to beat some of the inner fender in. not much though. It took like 20 seconds on each side once the wheel was off. And most people have to flip their quad shocks. But I have 1/4 in spacers so they dont rub.

my 315/30/18's fit flawlessly with no massaging whatsoever.. I have seen 335's on a 95 with side exhaust and massaged fender lips...275's on the front with no rubbing..

a local guy had 335's on a 17x10.5 rear rim...IIRC he had no quads, aftermarket lowers and either tails or dumps.

I run a 17x11 and 315's and really dont see any reason to go wider...it looks almost cartoonish as is. A wider rim like 11in wide rim will give the 315's alittle more width over a 10.5 rim tire for tire. I have been asked if my 315's are 335's and they had to look at the tires to believe me.

Yea I forgot about the tail pipes. Some people have to mess with their tails to get them to no touch. I have dumps (as should everyone ) so I didnt have to mess with it.

And I always have people asking me what size tires I have. I love it. lol
