THROW OUT BEARING ????????????

95 gt 5spd when the car is at idle you can hear a squeekind sound and when i push the cluch in about 1/2 inch the noise stops when i let the cluch back out in starts to squeek again i am thinking its the cluch throw out bearing ..???any body had this problem before ????

My TOB has been doing that for almost 2 years now. I hope it lasts another 4 months and I'll be a happy camper.

Mine went out 3 days before I was going to change it.

But that is def the TOB.

Mine does it too, I'm hoping it lasts until I get a new clutch to put in, but it doesn't need a clutch

If you have an adjustable cable you can adjust it out, or buy a return spring at a parts store and hook it so the clutch fork is pulled back so that bearing isnt touching when the pedals up

When I swapped from auto to manual and mine squeaked from day one.
