Mustang reving abnormally

Guys -

Can use some help or advice. I noticed Saturday that my 2005 Mustang Gt was reving abnormally when I came to a stop sign. It would drop down to ~500 rpm and then rev back to ~1200 rpm. Bounce back and forth for a few seconds before settling into 800 rpms. I do have an Demolet 93 octane tune and have posed this same question to John to see if he has any ideas, awaiting response. I have been working on installing a Zex system but not 100% installed. Spoke to some Comp Cam guys and they suggested that I may have loosened the Air Control located on the throttle body. Right now I am kinda stuck and need any help or suggestions anyone might have.

What kind of CAI do you have...???
 
Heavy - It is a Demolet (Tuneable Inductions) with SCT xcal2 93 octane tune.

JTgrant - I think the guys at comp cams were speaking of the wire connection - plan to check it out as soon as i get outta work - not sure about this one.
 
I'm not sure if you mounted the spray nozzles for the Zex unit yet, but if you did make sure you dont have an air leak in the CAI where you drilled your hole for mounting. Also, check the TPS wiring and make sure you didnt pull a wire out when tapping into it for the NMU
 
Thanks guys - I reloaded the tune and cleaned the throttle body - it seemed to help - time will tell. It was cruded up pretty bad, imo. I did check the wiring and where I tapped into the CAI - it checks out ok. I will drive a couple of days and probably clean the throttle body again and make it a part or recurring maintenance. I really appreciate everyone's help - I can only imagine what they charge to clean the throttle body.
