I'd love for you to elaborate on this one.
....and a stiffer chassis, better
suspension, more solid over all car, cleaner, more functional, roomy interior, improved creature comforts, etc, etc
The S197's have improved "brakes" over the previous GT as well and are pretty near on par with the 13" units on the '03-'04 Cobra. The independent rear is a blessing for some, but a hindrance for others, 6-speed is a stout gearbox, but certainly not as nice shifting as the T3650, and guys wanting an Auto, will be all out of luck with the Cobra. Forged Crank....the stock cast steel unit in the 3V engine will handle over 600hp....so how much more of an advantage will you gain in most instances with a forged unit? 4V....Great head, but all testing I've seen has shown the 3V heads seem to flow almost every bit as well as the 4V castings up top, without the drop in low-end and mid-range torque. I'd say on a street car, that puts the "head" advantage in the 3V corner.
I don’t mind people rhyming off reasons why they prefer the Cobra over the S197, but if we’re going to compare the two head to head like that, let’s at least get the facts strait.
