Alpine CDA 9885 or CDA 9887?

Can anyone here justify if the extra $100 for the 9887 is worth it? I've read that it has a parametric EQ and another module you can buy for it ($250) so you can tailor the sound to your particular car, but that's a total of $350 that I can spend elsewhere. I'll be adding a 4 channel amp as well as a Punch 75 running 2 10s under the rear seat. Right now I'm running the factory audiophile head unit and Alpine 6x8s. BTW-it's going in an 05 King Ranch Super Crew. Any opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like the 9887 just adds some higher sound quality features. Things like the 24 bit Burr-Brown converter, equalizer, time alignment, and low/high pass filters for the amps. If you want more options to improve the overall sound quality then the 9887 does offer that. I've never used the add on module so I don't really have any opinions on that.
