Quicktime is offering a new bellhousing for Ford V8's. They have models for the 5.0/5.8, 4.6/5.4, and I believe that an FE version is on the way. Each can mount a T-5, T-45, or TKO trans.
The ability to mount the T-45 gives a new source of inexpensive used manual trans. EDIT: Opps, the specs do not specifically mention the T-45, but I think I read that in "Mustangs and Fords".
The bell is a bit pricey at $420, but is SFI certified and appears to have a smaller diameter than most bells. I would guess that it would solve header fitment problems for MII manual transmissions, and might allow larger engines to be installed without trans tunnel massaging. Maybe you could even get a little more setback if the oilpan is modified.
