Miami, Ok
got bored today so i shot of vid of my mustang. new parts are f-cam, new headgaskets and head studs, got some bigger valves in heads and etc.

next i got to sort out some valve train issues and get to tuning to car.

and when i was talking about "overdrive" on the crank pulley i was wrong. that crank drive on the asp pulley is underdriving my accessories, i duno why i said overdrive.

sorry for the cheesy commentary

Worked now for some reason. Sounds great congrats. Gonna stick with 9 psi for awhile? Yea, right! You'll have that 7.5" on there in no time, then one of the smaller sc pulleys.
lol shh dont give me ideas lol

as for the fuel pressure is set at 39-40 like factory.

when the engine is first started it runs in OL and EEC ignores the factory 02s, the narrowband stock o2s only are used in CL when trying to maintain 14.6-14.7 AFR in closed loop mode.

my wideband just reads whatever is in the exhaust, its totally stand alone from the EEC in the car. but i can and will hook up the wideband to be able to datalog it with my tweecer which should be awesome.

Sounds great. How does the plugs look. Sometimes if its too rich and any miss fires cause unburned air fuel into the exhaust. The wideband reads only the oxygen left in the exhaust. I didn't hear any on the video. Just an idea?

I know that your wideband is standalone i have the same one. sometimes just a pound or 2 more might fix your problem. have you tried to change it any also it does sound strong. I like the idea of dumps but when my buddy did it every time we stopped at a light it would choke us out.

i honestly think its running rich the more think about it.

i dont see how it would run that lean with just a huge injector.

the way the car runs and starts etc its like it RICH, hard starting and etc.

but the 17-18:1 flashing in your face and the red headers does scare you lol.

as for the fuel pressure, i havent messed with it yet, i set it at factory because a plan on tuning the car, i had some serious valvetrain issues and those were getting all my attention. turns out i am pulling my heads off again and its a long story but i will be getting new valves ( ones installed were wrong) so i will be out some more cash on new head gaskets etc etc.

and i never checkd the plugs i will do that tonight

one question, if the car is indeed running super rich i am sorta of confused on how extra oxygen is getting to the wideband, if fuel is burning in the headers shouldnt the oxygen accelerating the burn be used up before it gets to the o2?? or would it just be some horrible missfiring (mentioned above) where oxygen reaches the WB?
