Im new to tuning and this site. Looking to see if anyone has or has read any important reading material on tuning forced induction. This summer will be my first stab at tuning it my self with a PMS and a wide band. I have read all I can in fordfuelsystems.com and stang tuning. Just looking for something more in depth like a book or a video training. I have seen a few books but don’t think they would be very useful. I understand EFI strategies looking more on how to understand timing curves and fuel logs and Data logging. I sure a little of this I will pick up hands on but I have a few month to cram my head with lot of information. How did you pro tuners get your start? Thanks again. Jr.

Stangtuning is the best place I have seen for PMS info...

Maybe this?
http://www.efi101.com/

Most of the efi books I have found tend to dumb things down to the point that they don't help much.
If you like I can get a list of what I have found when I get home...

With the PMS you don't really need to learn the Ford ecu programming. That is the major advantage to the PMS user interface.

There is a book by Charles Probst, which is VERY good.
That would be worth picking up for the basics of how the eec-iv works...
