o/r h with bassani cat back?

hey whats up guys. havent been on in a while but i just wanna ask some questions about my exhaust on my 96 cobra.

i had weld in flowmasters with bbk o/r x (was on the car when i bought it, sounded like ass) and then i ordered a bassani cat back hoping to get rid of the "rattling tin-can" sound. well the sound is still there just not as bad. i love the overall sound of the bassani cat back tho.

so my question is would an o/r h sound better with the bassanis? and take away that horrible sound??

i hope so cuz i just ordered the mac o/r h earlier lol

NO!!! go with a better x pipe! get a VRS or something like that. Bassanis are pure win with an o/r x.

they sound OK with an h.

Best exhaust setup in the world: Bassani mid lengths, o/r x, bassani catback(with better tips lol)

I have a Bassani catback with Mac longtubes & o/r H pipe. I think it sounds waaaaay better than the o/r X i had on the car for a few weeks. The X pipe was way too raspy 7 tinny for my taste. The H pipe is more mellow with a deeper tone, but when paired with Bassani's it sounds aggressive....The thing I also like is its a very uncommon combo....

Here are a few clips of what mine sounds like....

I love how loud the x-pipes get at wot. My car has lt's o/r x and lm1's and yea its loud as hell at wot and quiet at idle. H's soud good but your set up would be better with an x.

I just realized you said cobra. 4v's sound better with h's than 2v's. It'll probably sound pretty good. Epik, your car is just a wet dream. :)
