I was informed a few days ago by members at another forum I subscribe to that 5.0 Mustangs and Super Fords had a little blurb in their magazing with Eleanor in it. I don't subscribe so I had not seen, nor was I told it was going in there. The pic that they used is one of my older ones, so I'm not sure how all this happened, but it's cool as hell. Theres a mis-print in the gears I run 3.73 vs truly 4.10's, and the rest of the grocery list was spot on. I'm thinking they may have spoken with me at WOW back in January possibly.

Heavy said he has a copy in his posession that he's given me, that's a nice guy. Here's the scan someone on the other forums posted up for me:

Very nice car. Nice write-up.

You'll note my pseudonym tells a tale. I too was a Chevy guy - committed to Corvettes and Camaros. I'm now in an '08 GT driver and the boxes are arriving as well.

Congrats!

Dude, I want to make it a goal of mine to see your car in person when I get back. I mean, I've had your pics on my desktop for ever. I've only ever seen one other car that even has your body kit, much less comes close in the detail and care you put into it. Rock on! :)

You got to see it to get the full impact

:nice:WTG Emay! Too bad you can't collect royalties from them.

I had the good fortune to see and even run a little with both Emay and Heavy's cars a while back. The photos don't do the cars justice. The quality of workmanship evident in the cars is top notch. Awesome is too mild and overused of a word to describe them. It was definitely worth a 100+ mile drive up there to check them out. (Yah, I was impressed, even my wife has started asking questions about getting the Kenny Bell) Not only do they look good (the cars I mean), but these guys aren’t afraid to take them out on the road and put them through the paces.

I have been hankering to trade my auto vert for a stick coup to have a more solid platform to start modding from ever since. (3 more years and my kid will be out of college....)

BTW, my first car was a '64 GTO. It was stolen and with my insurance check I bought a new a '76 Camaro. From there I tried a '79 Mazda RX7 then a '79 Triumph TR7 vert (Still own that one, it is unique). My first Ford was a '88 T-bird turbo coupe. When I saw the 05 stang vert, I just had to have one. You just can't beat a Ford V8 packed into a stang.
