Last Car Club Race at PR for 2008 is this Friday the 22nd (8/22/08)

Gates open at 4:00 PM, passes start about 5:00 PM, and eliminations begin between 6:00 and 7:00 at Pacific Raceway in Kent.
The Ford Drag Team will win the Challenge again this year, but I encourage everyone to take part.

Anyone have a fuel pressure gauge that can fit in that Fox body fuel rail hole? I think mines way off or something and could adjust it when I gat to the track.

I don't know if I will be there or not... Last race there I was really, really, really, really disappointed in the track preparation... It was basically a waste of $$$ and time as everyone was spinning out of the hole... This included 2008 cars that were essentially stock...

When is the next race at Bremerton... The drive is farther, but at least they prep the track a little...

Bremerton hosts the final CCC race of the season on Sept. 13th. I don't think PR has an open drag racing day September. There are a couple days scheduled for October, but those dates are always tentative given the weather.

The last race day was probably the worst traction I've experienced. I hope it was an aberration. When traction gets that bad and you are bracket racing, start fender racing. They prepped the track right before the final between Dave and Jason. The cars with slicks seemed to be fine, those of us with DR's were struggling.

We just won't know the track conditions until we make some passes. Besides, there aren't many track days remaining this season, so we need to race when we have the chance.

The cars with slicks seemed to be fine, those of us with DR's were struggling.

I was on Hoosier QTP’s and I couldn’t get my car to hook out of the hole to save my life, and I don’t make much power…

I am planning on making it Friday.
