I am trying to get around 300 rwhp off spray, I already have longtubes, catless h, mac dumps, trick flow track heat upper and lower with 1 spacer, bbk fendor mount, bbk pullys, cf dual friction, 3.73s.

I am looking to put heads /cam/ push rods/lifters/ springs and retainers next.

I have seen heads as cheap as 200 bucks, and cam/ push rods/lifters/ springs and retainers packages for 250.

Can you recomend what items i should be looking for? what to stay away from?

I dont want to fly cut the pistons or change headers. I reaslly want to stay under 800 bucks, is that possible?

Oh and i have a full wet kit to put me around 400 after 300 n/a mark

Edit: i have a walboro 255

Your best bang for the buck at this point is going to be heads. A cam doesn't buy you anything with stock heads, and doesn't buy you a ton, even with heads and intake. You already have a good intake, so I'd be looking to scoop up some cheap GT40P's (not all headers fit these due to spark plug angle), or even some Edelbrocks/Trick Flow TW's if you can find them used and cheap. Just be aware that refreshing used heads and buying gaskets necessary for the swap will cost a little as well. Might want to look at upgrading your fuel pump, MAF and injectors as well assuming you haven't; I would think adding heads along with nitrous on top of that is going to have you running into some fuel issues.

I i have a walboro.. i assumed i would get injectors and maf according to what my duty cycle looked like on the dyno. Also, i wanted to the full top end to save on install time. thanks for info so far.

what kind of power are you making? any track times?
