today while driving the clutch pedal seemed funny
so i put my foot under the pedal and very gently pulled it forward
there was a pop!
now the clutch pedal is very loose and engages at the floor and dis engages at like 7/8 depressed?
so its super sensitive
what the **** is going on?
maybe the clutch cable came loose at the clutch fork??

It sounds like it did what it was suposed to do and self-adjusted.

Just to clarify what you mean by loose, is it just easy to depress the clutch, or does the pedal now travel freely, with no tension on it?

The factory self tensioner always seems to put the adjustment like you're explaining when you put your toe under the pedal and pull up. There is a way to adjust the factory pawl and quadrant with your hand by reaching up under the dash, but it's too hard to explain what to feel for and how to do it without being there to show you... but here goes. Lay on the floor and look up with a flashlight, push the pedal down about 2 inches with one hand and then reach up to the pawl and push it so it clicks up one or two teeth higher on the quadrant. This will give you a much better pedal feel and will assure that the clutch is fully disengaging when pushed to the floor... this will also keep from hurting the syncros when shifting. My best advice is to get an aftermarket quadrant and adjustable cable and get rid of the factory self adjusting crap.

tere is almost no tension until it in very close to the floor
then it get a little more stiff
but when i got to let the clutch out there is almost no "line" between engaged and disengaged
i mean you have to be super sensitive letting the clutch b.c if not it stalls

wow! i went and drove it around and my previous problems are gone
(1st and 2nd were hard to shift into and when i accelerated hard it seemed like the clutch was engaged)
you were right it just self adjusted!
sweet =]
thanks for the help!
