Question about our idiot lights

One of my idiot lights come on when I start the car now in the morning. It sort of looks like a bad drawing of a radiator with an X in the center.

Is this supposed to indicate low coolant level? I checked it and it seemed perfect. Anyone know for sure what this light is for? It goes off after about 30 seconds of driving.

low coolant.

mine does the same thing even when I'm not low on coolant. Sensor is bad/stuck most likely.

check and make sure your fan is always coming on as well...mine did the same thing and it was the plug for the fan...the fan wasent always coming on because of the bad plug causing the car to get a little hot...
