OK, it's time for me to replace my plugs. I have the motorcraft platinum plugs with the longer threads. They are pre-gapped at .054.

My question is:
With a Predator HP tune, advanced timing and premium fuel, should I alter the gap to be smaller or larger by any amount, or should I just check to make sure they are at .054 and plug-n-play?

anywhere from .050 to .054 will be fine if you are NA

I was mainly curious, because I have read in here that some people will go with a slightly tighter gap on the copper plugs (due to the fact that they wear faster and a slightly tighter gap will help lengthen the time before a removal and re-gap is needed), and was wondering if this was applicable to the platinums.
