I hate owning GM

Remember when Al Gore won the popular vote over GWB, but somehow GWB ended up in office anyway?

That's all I'll say here on that subject. Political threads get ugly, and I'm not going to participate in one, but I'll be more than happy to answer any PMs sent my way regarding the subject. ;)
Whether the system is flawed or not, you still need to vote to have an opinion on matters to do with our government. At least when your candidate didn't win, when the winning candidate f*d up (many times), you could sit on the sidelines and say you voted for the other guy.

And i know i can't spell lol.

Now, now... Don't forget the crap Ford was making from '74 to the early 80's. Chrysler did the same thing. During that time period, at least in my opinion, GM made the superior American car. No doubt GM had a huge lack of vision in the last decade but I don't want them to fail for the sake of the workers. I think the general picture a lot of us have in our heads of a "worker" is an individual male with dirty hands. Don't forget those hands feed little mouths at home. I wouldn't hope for their failure. Should we have bailed them out? Well, not in my opinion, because they went belly up anyway which is what I was sure was going to happen from the start. We just threw a bunch of money into it for nothing. They could've been through the reorganization or bought out by someone else already and on their new path by now.

This is true. Even into the 80s GM had a superior product to Ford and Chrysler, at least IMO. The Mustang was a big seller (always has been) and the Taurus was the #1 selling family sedan in the world, but GM had some nice cars, too. The 3rd Generation Camaro was a large seller for most of the 80s, plus we can't forget the B-Bodies like the Buick Regal T-Type/Grand National, (1989) Pontiac Turbo TransAm, Hurst Olds Cutlass, or even the Monte Carlo SS; all decent cars for the time, and even today, the T-Type/GN and Pontiac Turbo TransAm (1989) are considered to be some of the best cars to ever come out of GM.

I'm not pleased to see my money bail GM out. Where the Hell are my stock options?
