so ive finally come up with my final parts list for a build i will begin in about 3 months if all goes as planned, and am curious what others opinions are on the combo and what kinds of gains i will see

Trick Flow Top End Kit 360hp track heat consists of:
165cc twisted wedge heads
track heat intake
tfs stage 1 cam


already running an electric fan
24# inj
bbk 75mm TB/egr spacer
1.6 rr
C&L MAF (if i dont decide to run megasquirt for tunability)
Anderson powerpipe

i talked with someone on another forum who is running the same set up and has seen 12.9's on motor which seems pretty reasonable

id also like to run between a 100-150 shot as well

the 360hp rating was dyno'd by trick flow on a 306 w/24 lb inj. so id hope to see very similar numbers but i could be wrong,
all opinions welcome

I think $2499 is alot to spend for 12.9`s.
I have seen stock block with explorer heads and throttle body go 12.75 for less than $500

I have the street intake and heads with a E303 cam (should have gotten the Stage 1 cam) with simialr mods as you. I like the combo and can only complain about the cam as its a pain to keep the E303 from surging. Not sure on power or track times as I havent been to the dyno or track with her, but I can attest to smoking a few other Stangs and Camero's at street lights. ( I never pick the fight, I just seem to finish it...something to be said about an "old" LX with original paint, its called sleeper)

Whoever went 12.9 on that combo either did it with slippery street tires or doesn't know how to drive. Or has an AOD. You should see low 12's on motor with that build, assuming the rest of your car is up to par.

A lot of guys running that kit see around 300 RWHP.

Put an AOD in your car and see how much it slows down, they are power hogs.
But my 89 gt (aod) TW heads a simular combo as the trickflow kit went 13.25 and had best mph of 104, I have a video of a race with a mustang that had the TF top end kit and believe it or not he lost to me, he did have better mph though.
