I have an 07 Gt. I had it to the track this weekend. I ran my best at 13.3 at 102 mph. Im looking for some help to get me into the 12.99 range. These are the mods that I have..
Headers, Cold air intake, Underdrive pulleys, Diablo Computer, Loudmouth Exhaust, Umi Upper and Lower control arms, 3.73 gears, Drag radial tires.
I did a good job launching, with little tire spin. I shifted at 6250 each time.
Any suggestions on any add-ons that might get me closer to the 12.99 time? (Im looking for cheaper suggestions..wife is already mad at me). ps- I dont want nitrous.
Thanks in advance.

well, cams, intake manifold then heads is about all you got unless you go F/I. A little shot of Nox would be way cheaper and give you that boost you need. For around $600 you can't beat it.

You need to trap at about 106 mph to run 12.90's consistently, so you're about 30-35 rwhp short of that if you're currently trapping 102 mph.

Without going F/I or nitrous, you'll need cams and/or head work to get the extra 30-35 rwhp you need to achieve your goal.

Try lightening up your rotating assembly even further. Start with a one piece lightweight DS. Maybe later getting a better clutch and lightweight flywheel will get you closer to that 12.99 you're seeking.

As suggested you may want to add power but no harm ever comes from optimizing what you already have.

Work on lightening the car a bit, 102 seems a bit low for your mods. Even a little tire spin is too much tire spin. Work on your traction and maybe get some shifting/launching advise as the driver in a stick car has a whole lot to do with E/T's...that's why I have an auto lol. And def get a driveshaft..that alone would most likely get you a 12 sec pass.

+1 CMCDP (100$), and a custom mail order tune from brenspped or bamachips($75). or dyno tune but its more expensive, your def not making the power u should be based on your trap speed and mods.
Droping rot mass from drivetrain are great track mods as well but an aluminum flywheel and ds will run ya darn near $1000.

Great suggestions from the others.

Here's one more for your consideration.
If you had to shift into 4th gear before crossing the finish line in order to prevent hitting the rev limiter, then you can raise your rev limit to 7000 rpm, and shift at 6500 rpm. Depending on your drag radials' diameter, this may allow you to cross the finish line in 3rd gear. If so, then that should increase your car's momentum at the finish line by eliminating the 3-4 shift, which in turn should shave some time off your current e.t.
If you find that you still have to shift into 4th before reaching the finish line when shifting at 6500 rpm, then you still may be able to lower your current e.t., since your car's momentum is higher.
The most difficult thing is remembering to reset the rev limiter back to its original setting before leaving the track.

Good cai, udp, cmcv delete, tune, headers, at least 4.10's and drag radials... mid 12's :nice:
