As title states, I am looking for pics to form my opinion about whether I want to add a mach 1 chin spoiler or bullitt fuel door to my Black 04 GT. Some days I love how these look, other days,
The chin spoiler is a 110% yes,no matter the color. It just makes the front facia more aggressive in the lower section.Gives it "that" look so to speak. The front facia's lower section always looks like it's missing something without it it.I have always thought that before the chin spoiler ever came out.
As for the fuel door.Either way, stock or with the Bullitt fuel door,it looks good.
The Bullitt fuel doors look too plain to me. Plus, you see every car and truck around with that type of fuel door now. I like the ones with either GT, Cobra, or Mach 1 engraved in them. Granted, then you have 4 places outside your car stating what it is, but I think it still looks good. I know of at least 6 different fuel doors they've made for the Mach 1. I bought one 3 years ago and like it alot.
Thanks guys. I am doing some shopping this week and will be making the chin spoiler a top of the list purchase. I am still deciding on the fuel door.
If the car is stock ride height, will the chin spoiler be regularly too low for curbs (like in the parking lots in front of the spots) or speed bumps?
Since a Mach I believe is 1/2" lower stock than a GT you'll be fine going over speed bumps, and also be good for most curbs. I've gotten afew wear spots on the bottom of the spoiler from rubbing afew curbs, but it's nothing that some "Back to Black" or "Pig Spit" can't get rid of to cover it up. I always try to not park close enough to the parking curb, but sometimes I'm a couple inches off.
Thanks again for all the replies. I ordered the chin spoiler last night along with a new antenna and some billet goodies for the interior. I decided to hold off on the fuel door since I could not make up my mind. If I can figure out how, I will post pics once everything is in and on.
