Autometer Fuel Gauge

Hi y'all. In the process of swapping out stock gauges in the Mustang and replacing them with Autometers. Wondering if anyone knows the color wire that comes off the fuel level sending unit that needs to be connected to the new gauge, or can I just wire the new gauge to the wire (yellow/white stripe) that is in the gauge cluster harness?

I am not 100% sure but I can tell you that all the sender from the tank is just a resistor but I believe there is some anti slosh module in the stock cluster to make sure the needle doesn't move every time you corner. I would say you will be fine just connecting it.

Yea, I think I'll hook into the yellow/white in the harness, seems like that should be it.
