So finally today me and my buddy got the car running today...i have been workin in it since last september ...its a built 306 svo aluminum heads...not sure on the cam i know its 530 lift..heads ported and polished ...trick flow fuel system..upper and lower intake also trick flow..accufab 75mm tb 30 lb injectors...i knowtheres more but i cant think if it all..everything was replaced..this is a total different block from before...we ran it timing was off and had to much fuel pressure so it got flooded ...im gonna get a new distributor cuz i cant stand the stock one..i need a skinny billet one...so all i got left is to get the timing on point again fuel pressure right and then i looked under the car and saw oil dripping from where the plate bolts up to the block in between the bellhosing..what could that be? i put a new rear main seal in...it was a good size spot on the ground other than that its almost ready it sounded like a beast heres some pics

Nice job on the motor, love the front end setup. I'll have to stop by one day and check it out :nice: you might have to let the seal swell up some and let is season. I know it sounds crazy but after I did mine I had a small leak and it stopped after a few miles of running it, if it doesn't stop by then you might have to pull it apart again. these things are famous for leaking even with a new rear main.

Thanxs man lot of work and lot of money later..but it felt good to fire it up..at least i know it runs..very aggresive loud it sounds like a beast..ill keep check the leak i hope it stops...i really dont want to pull the tranny ...:nonono:..but if thats the only problem i can live with that

I have those same valve covers sitting in my room(been in the box for the past year) Did you need to put a spacer between the upper and the lower because it looks like without one the valve covers wouldn't clear or am I wrong? I'd love to put my set on.

That thing is sweet. Nice work. Now you can enjoy the summer with it! :nice:

thanxs man...ya i cant wait till all the tweeks are worked and i get it to run right ordered a msd billet distributor today well see if that helps any...i just cant wait to drive it but its in desperate need of an alignment after all the whole front end was off the car..i know when it was running it was insane loud

oil leak you can have a brand new engine and 10 minutes after first fire up the rear main starts leaking its unbelievable. i have never owned a fox that didn't "sweat" a bit
