So, I parked my car...walked in to suffer through my wife and daughter shopping for clothes. I was feeling pretty good about how badass my car was looking, all clean and sitting out there looking sinister, ready to pounce.

And then, I come out and some prick seriously one upped me. Talk about a shot to the ego. It's what happens when one of these is parked next to you. Baller status... :jaw:

think of it this way. you could spend about 10k and whoop that guys ass in power and handling department get better gas milage and the insurance is cheaper, plus keep taking the wife and child on rides. No biggy there.

Here is how I look at it. I can get in my Mustang beat the snot out of it go home, next day get start it up beat the snot of it go home, and so on etc.... The problem with car like that Lambo and Ferrari's is you drive it on Saturday and take it to repair shop Monday.

Couple of questions:

Did you make your wife and daughter walk from the south 40 of that parking lot? I usually just smile at mine and say "door dings honey." But were you further out than the Lambo, because that might be harder to justify to the wife.

What was the Lambo guy doing at Kohl's?

Maybe it's MR Kohl ?

I drop the Ladies off at the front door and park in the back 40 and I walk.

I dropped them off at the door, then drove to Lowes to browse for about 45 mins and came back. I was parked....probably 4 spots in (towards the store) from this guy. At the time, there were no cars out there. We like taking the Stang for short trips, because even though the back seat is small (tiny, microscopic) my daughter is like "this car is so BA." haha :rlaugh:

Maybe this isn't a real lambo, it's one of those Fiero Body Kits! :D If it is a real lambo, then he needs to shop at Kohls, he needs some gas money to get home and they circled his savings in Red on his coupon.

Speaking of savings...I try to tell my wife/daughter that just because EVERYTHING appears to be on sale (at Kohls, almost EVERYTHING is marked down like 50% or 75%), then in reality probably nothing is on sale. But, they get suckered in there regardless. Oh well, I'd probably do the same if buying parts for the car or bike on some website :rlaugh:

Thats like saying you got owned because you drove through the rich end of town & realized they have more expensive homes than you....

Personally, Ive yet to see a Lambo driven by a guy who wasn't fat, bald & an overall jag. The car just screams 'look how much Im compensating!' (not that I wouldn't want one, but there are many classier, more capable cars out there for the $)

glad to see you guys love the thread and are getting a kick out of it :) I love my Stang, but you gotta admit that Lambo would be a thrill to drive, especially on a track.

BTW, I'm overcompensating too, just on a much smaller scale.

The Murcielago is a nice car but unfortunately like most "Supercars" they don't do terribly well at the track against lighter and more nible track oriented machines.

In the FIA-GT championship the only one of those that was running (reiter engineering I believe) had a carbon fiber body and was only driving a 2WD transmission to reduce the weight handicap the car has.

In a matchup between a stock one of those and a Griggs Track Toy Mustang I'd go with the GR40TT any day of the week.
