I just got my intake for my 5.0 in. BIG thank you to Mark Luton and Modular Mustang Racing in Oxnard. I was looking for a quality piece and while Mark was developing it, I can see he was listening to what the consumer wanted. Big conical filter, great quality, heat shield and elbow are top notch. He also made sure to keep the "sound induction tube" which I love and really wanted to find an intake that still had that. Most delete it.

I haven't had a chance to put it on, but i will tonight and post some intial findings. Either way, I hope this helps with my throttle response and top end pull.

Next up, Dyno tune!

You know, I won't be nearly as harsh as that other board because this is a new product. But I'm suffering the same problem.

I put the intake on and it sounds great, and the finish is nice but a few things.

1) You have to have a tune. The car is surging and feels flat, then sometimes it'll pull like an ox. The computer is all over the place with this intake and no tune.

2) The heat shield works but also it forces air to be drawn from a small area behind the headlight. It needs to have a duct from the bottom to the ram air scoop which the stock intake hooks up too. I even tried just taking the heat shield off because I thought that maybe the car wasn't getting enough air. Car still surged and feels ****ty. I gave it a few days hoping the computer would "learn" a bit, but it hasn't and it drives like crap. The stock intake is going back on later tonight after Boston pounds fakers into the ground. :)

Thanks for that link, I"ll chime in there too.
