you can fit 26x10.5 on a 15x9, go for it! Do you have the wheels already? Im not sure if weld makes 15x9 draglites. Unless you have the wheels, id get 15x8, 5.5 backspacing, and 26x10.5 tire. I run 26x11.5x15 on my 15x10 pacer draglites, the tire actually measures out to be about 10" on the rim.

yea Mob weld makes a 15x9 draglite with 5.5 backspacing so I figured on getting them instead of trying to fit a 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing which requires some work......will the 26x10.5 look to small on the rim? do u think a 26x11.5 would look better.

below are links to each tire info that summit racing has:

according to the specs it looks like a 26x11.5 would be a better fit for the 9inch rim

what do u guys think?

im on a 500 hp stick shift car, pulling 1.4 60 ft's with just droping the clutch at 6k, without a drag suspension, actually, with lowering springs, running 10 holes, al the way around, with a 26x8.5 so why would want to run much more than a 9 inch tire?
especially a 12in?
you will actually Go Slower with a huge ugly tire

im sorry i thought you were talking about slicks,
on my pony's i ran a 10.5 in mt et street, for the streets, i hated them, rubbing on the insides, and the traction was only good, for the 1st 200 miles, then they basicly fell apart, and $400 in rubber was down the drain

Hate to bring up a dead thread, but im about to pull the trigger on a set of 26x11.5x15 slicks and im trying to make sure theyll fit:

1. on a 15x8 draglite

2. on my 91 fox

Fenders have already been beaten in (i ran a 275/40/17 for a while) and the quad shocks are gone

Sorry for the "Will it fit" question, i hate them as much as everyone else

I run a 275/50r15 ET Street on a 15x8 draglite with 5.5 rear spacing. No rub on the outside at all and the quarter panel is untouched. The inner however required a little adjusting but not too bad really. No quads.

Hey, just wanted to throw this out there to you it will save you a lot of money on tires. I was running a ET street drag (255/60/15) at $180 or so per tire, I found this guy Jimmy Smith phone number 770-924-9525, who carries dirt track, drag, asphalt what ever in a McCreary tire. they acually have sizes that you cant get in a ET, MT, etc. The 255/60/15's were only $90 per tire plus shipping and the look good. They have several different tread patterns to chose from. They look like a Mickey Thompson sportsman tire. Have him fax you over a tire sheet and it will give you all the specs on the tires and the different tread patterens. Hope it saves you some $$$$.

Thanks, but im already pretty set on these tires, just need to know if 11.5 will go on an 8" wheel without bulging and still fit in a fox fender
