Okay, I have come to the conclusion that i need to sell one of my mustangs I have. The money i get from the sale of whatever mustang i choose will fund my resto.

I have a 1993 Mustang gt. Red and Silver 2 tone. Completely stock nice interior. No performance mods. Needs a little body work and a paintjob.

I also have a 1985 gt i just picked up for way cheap. Its satin black and is an auto car. Interior is okay needs a real good cleaning. I would like to paint it bullett green.

I need to decide between the 2, I love the look of the 4 eyes but most ppl rather the newer models. Wich may make it harder to sell the 4 eye if i ever decide to.

I am also concernd on switching to carb. I know a lot of ppl dont like carbed cars and rather fuel injection.

I have everything i need to make the car manual so im not too worried about that.

I just need to decide what a better investment would be.

Any opinoins?

and keep the areo, cause 4-eyes blow
:hide:

Gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there. Love the 4-eyed cars.

But I do think you should keep the one that will require less work.

The '86 sounds like the one that will be harder to get to where you want it. Though AOD to T5 conversions are common, they are involved and can be tricky especially if you haven't done one before.

I'd say sell the '86 and keep the '93.

Everyone here who knows me, knows that im just ****ing around

I had an 85 wayyyy back in the day, I love 4 eyed cars, but they are harder to get repro body parts for and interior trim. If you ar elooking to restore it to nice shape is a far bigger pain the butt. BUt they are cool looking. The 93 is the easier choice i'd say. I would go that route.

This is a simple one for me as a consultant.

Neither; because both are lousy investments as other members have already stated to you on your other thread.

If you are trying (very hard I see) to justify one as an investment, you need to create a schedule of values (itemized sheet) showing what it would take to get your car to resale status(if you chose to do so).

Weight out both project investments and see which one will leave you less in the hole.

At that point the answer will become very clear.

I just noticed that the 4-eyed car you bought was an '85 AOD. For some reason I was thinking it was an '86. The CFI motor is not really a performance motor in it's factory configuration. If you keep the '85, you're going to have to put some $$$ to make it respectable.

I did see your other thread, and the body looks great for a $200 car. Good find. You'll be able to make some money on that if you decide to sell it/part it out.
