I have officially stepped out of my comfort zone and I need some help from the experts. Christmas is fast approaching and the only thing I know my husband really wants is a giant collection of "stuff" for his Mustang. All of the things he wants are things that I either can't afford or things I'd have no idea which thing to buy. He wants a tuner, a new grill, new rims and tires, fog light blackout covers, HID headlight bulbs, etc. I could handle the bulbs, that's about it. Does anyone have any suggestions of things I could buy him? He has a 07 GT and about 60 containers of cleaning supplies, sponges, cloths, etc. :) Help me guys!

What's your realistic budget?
What does he do with the car? (ie year round daily driver, nice days only car, show & shines, road course racing, drag racing)
What mods has he done so far?

Provide what info you can and we might be able to help maximize bang for your buck.

Look at Fordcollection.com
You will find a good selection of caps, shirts, jackets and other items.
Also try Mustang Club of America's website. You will find clothing, caps and if he is not a member, you could sign him up.

Good morning,
I couldn't respond last night with him sitting right beside me. :)
So far, the only things he's really done are putting in a new exhaust and tips, new spoiler, short antenna, small side mirrors. I'd say my budget on this is probably around $150-200. It's a "nice day only" driver. He drives it maybe 1-2 times a week, other than that, it stays in the garage and no one is allowed to walk through the garage. :) Does that help?

So, what I would suggest, is perhaps picking up some nice dress up items from MGW. They make really nice interior stuff, and you can easily just look in the car to see if he has any of them. Otherwise, we get into technical stuff that only he would know. Good luck!

When you say he has a Spoiler, do you mean a rear spoiler (on the trunk lid?) You could always get him a CDC Chin Spoiler, they are 199.00, not sure if the shipping is free or not.

I have this same one on my 06 GT and it made a world of difference.

Have a look at it here Classic Design Concepts Classic V8 Chin Spoiler

Best of luck :nice:

Heres a picture of it on my car......

Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna look at the MGW website. I've never seen him look at that one, so maybe I'll find some different ideas there. I'm also going to see if I can somehow figure out if he'd be interested in the chin spoiler. When I said spoiler, I meant on the trunk lid. I had no idea there was anything else on the car that was called a spoiler. :) I'm not an idiot, I'm just totally clueless about the wonderful world of Mustangs. I'll let ya'll know what I come up with in the end. Thanks so much!
