I've got the Borla ATAK catbacks, JLT cai, and Bama Tunes. You won't be disappointed in those mods, especially with Bama's top notch customer service. They are very helpful any time I call them and will use them for everything from now on just because of that.

As for the SC then I'm leaning towards a Vortech or Procharger.

I like those wheels but not a fan of black. I really like the Super Snake wheels but they're expensive as hell. 05-Up Super Snake Wheels and Toyo Proxes 4 Tire Package with TPMS

what was the performance gains total u got from the CAI, tune, and exhaust? shoulda put u wayyy up there huh.

i like the supersnake rims. i'm the biggest fan of chrome though. so many people have it. i'm more of a fan of black rims with a deep dish chrome lip with an offset. i'm still looking though. my car hasnt come yet so i still have time though.

u have any videos of your car id love to hear. do u feel the borlas are worth the price tag of 1600 thats a bit much but hey u have to pay for good performance

I've been dying to get a CAI and tune on mine, but most dealerships will tell you it will void the warranty. If you tune your vehicle and something blows in the engine, they can say it was the tune...including countless other problems can be "traced back to or blamed" on a aftermarket tune. This really upset me and made me wish I got a shorter warranty.

And forget about disconnecting the battery or putting the stock tune back on when going to the dealership, this will not completely erase the fact that you had changed the original tune of your vehicle at some time. I wish this was untrue.

shorter warranty? what comes on the mustangs? is it still the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty? i had the extended warranty on my 04 and couldnt do anything to mine outside of exhaust until after 72,000 miles. i'll never spend the extra money on an extended warranty again didnt use it and it was an extra 1000 dollars.

outside of exhaust though i probably wont touch too much aftermarket till the 2nd year or so on my mustang. i usually get close to 10,000 on income tax every year so if something breaks i can handle it

omg i cant wait for my stang. hey what do ya'll think of the magnaflow mufflers compared to the borlas

I got my ATAK's from the site below that has a video included. They were like $1366 shipped. It is about the most expensive exhaust but I'm so glad I got them. Not only are they excellent quality, sound awesome and fit perfect, but Borla has really good customer service and so does the site I ordered them from. Both Borla and SCparts are members on a different Mustang forum I frequent and both will answer any questions about their products. About the performance, people say I'm wrong, but I can tell you that I could definately feel a difference after installing the catbacks. I said the same as most about not getting a cai and tune to void the warranty but after you feel the power the car has and start doing mods here and there then you'll change your mind. People have been tuning cars for years and as long as you go with a reputable tuner (Bama, Brenspeed, BBR, Evo, etc.) then you most likely won't have a problem. I've been reading several forums since I heard the 5.0 was coming out and ALOT of people have got tunes and I've not read of anyone having major problems because of a tune.

I too believe that the tunes are probably safe and wouldn't cause any problems, but if anything happens to the car (even a defect from the factory), the dealership can say the tune caused it. Of couse they couldn't say it messed the brakes up, etc...but numerous other things could be blamed on the tune so they wouldn't have to pay for it.

Not sure how true this is but somebody on another forum posted that after you return the tune back to stock then you can take it to Autozone and have them hook up their diagnostics machine to it and that would be the last thing Ford would be able to see. Again, maybe not true, but worth a try if something did go wrong.
