1989 Ford Mustang GT
I purchased the car from the original owner a few years ago and it was 100% stock. I have only driven the car a few thousand miles since I have purchased it at it’s a third vehicle to me. I have performed the following modifications to the car:
-BBK X Pipe
-2.5” dual exhaust to Flowmaster Supper 44 mufflers.
-New paint in 04/2010, repainted the original colors.
-Dual 10” electric fans mounted to new radiator with aluminum end tanks.
-Fans controlled by DCC fan controller, fully adjustable (one of the best fan controllers available).
-130 amp alternator, new 4 gauge power wire run.
-FORD OEM starter solenoid (2 months old).
-New front rotors/pads/wheels bearings installed less them 750 miles ago
-New K&N panel air filter in factory air box.
-All windows professionally tinted with lifetime warranty
-Digital water temp gauge installed on A-pillar in a single gauge pod.
-Kenwood CD player installed, USB plug on face plate.
-16” Pony rims with new 245/50/16 tires (under 500 miles on tires).

All the modifications done to the car were done the right way and no means “hack jobs”. The interior on the car is the cleanest and most complete interiors that I have seen on a Fox body. The car currently has 162, XXX miles on it. The engine runs great, but does have an oil leak that I believe is coming from the crank seal on the timing cover. I have a 306 engine that I am selling with the car that has not been installed; motor has about 1,000 miles from last car but has been freshened up with the following. Specs of the motor are below along with the list of parts included:
-302 block 306bored to
-DSS main support with DSS windage tray
-GT40 heads, purchased new (currently have under 1k miles on them), milled .020
-JBA 1.72 roller rockers, pedestal mount, upgraded valve springs in heads
-E Cam, advanced 4 degrees via timing set
-Ford Racing one piece oil pan gasket
-New standard volume oil pump, ARP hardened oil pump shaft
-New Timing cover gasket, water pump, crank seal in cover.
-OEM valve covers had the ribbing inside taken out to clear the rockers
-Edelbrock Performer EFI lower intake on motor with new gaskets, upper also go with it.
-ARP head bolts, ARP main studs

Parts that comes with package, but not installed

-24lb injectors that have been cleaned and new O-rings and pintle caps, not used since cleaned.
-NEW 75mm PMAS MAF calibrated for 24lb injectors and factory air box with K&N filter.
-NEW Ford Racing spark plug wires
-NEW BBK chrome unequal headers, comes with new gaskets and bolts
-NEW motor and transmission mounts
-All NEW radiator and heater hoses with clamps,
-NEW spark plugs, thermostat, extra small parts.
-BBK 70mm throttle body, BBK 70mm EGR spacer – Both used in good condition.

I have been collecting parts to swap the 306 in, interest have changed now looking to sell the car and all above parts. I am being sincere when I say you will have a hard time finding a Fox with a cleaner, more complete interior. Car has all the smog equipment still and it works. Car has cold A/C, which is R12, I recharged it last summer. If I was going to keep the car and swap in the motor the only thing you would need is a fresh clutch kit. This car has the original clutch kit still and has not been abused. I have offered the car to a friend locally, but posting this up for interest. I’m asking $5300 for everything listed above. Located in VA, if interested and seriously interested email me at [email protected]

My friend locally has the first crack at this, but he has to sell his car first. If he has a problem selling his car then this car will be open to anyone. I am posting his here first rather then craigslist as I would like to see the car go to someone who is going to take care of it and not run it into the ground. I will post up pictures of the car later on today.

Sell the car itself for $4250 firm, will not drive to meet anyone. Motor can be bought in long block form for $1000(Intake to oil, does not include, injectors, maf, plug wires, etc). All be up to anyone if my friend locally can't do anything with his soon.
