Anyone know when Sync Applink will be available to 10-11 owners?

I read that the 2012s with Sync will be coming with the new applink feature from the factory, so I'm hoping it will be released as an update for current Sync equipped owners. I have a 2010 GT with Sync Gen1 3.1 currently installed. I use my Droid X with Pandora radio regularly, and would like to get the applink so that I can use all of Pandora's features without having to actually take my eyes off the road. Any info will be appreciated.

It's an update for sync that will allow for better integration of certain smart phone apps, like Pandora internet radio, so that rather than having to touch the phone while doing things like "thumbs up-ing" a song, you can *I believe* use voice commands. I haven't heard a ton of info, but I am still excited to get it and start figuring it out.

I've been able to update mine right along, currently running gen1 3.1 and it started with 2.0. I don't see why this won't be a downloadable update, as the hardware should be the same. Where are you getting your info Lint? 2011 Fiesta owners got it ONLY by downloading it from syncmyride.com, so I can't imagine them not releasing it to the 10-11 crowd of Mustang owners when it is only a software update.

It would be bad PR but they could hold it back as an incentive to differentiate the 2012 models from the 2011 model. If the 2011 Fiesta can handle it then it probably doesn't require any hardware changes and the 2011 Mustang "could" handle it as well if Ford was inclined to give it to us.

I suspect that we might eventually get it but only after the 2012 model has been out for a while
