Have a 1992 LX vert with 87K basically stock motor with full exhaust and a bd11a powerdyne. I am going to be putting on a edelbrock performer intake and a good friend of mine offered me. pro M callibrated for boost and 30's meter, 30lb injectors, and the fmu all matching ready to go on. T rex also. He went to 60's and a full set up.

Just wondering if the 30's will be ok for when driving with no boost. I want to get rid of the 19's and FMU it has now.

Thank you

30 lb should be OK as long as you have the calibrated maf or a way to tune. Im thinking they might be to small for a boosted application. The lightning had 42's in it and idles & cruises fine. My car has 42's. It runs but, its not back on the street/track yet. Its only at WOT that big injectors are needed. Im no expert on this stuff but, I have read somewhere that you should use injector to match your rear wheel HP goals. Not sure how correct that is & I dont like to put out bad info but, for example 30 lb for 300 rwhp. 42lb for 400 rwhp. I dont know if that is more ideal for N/A setups or if it works for boosted cars as they need to be richer.

I ran 24# injectors for two years with a set up very similar to yours. I had a 255 fuel pump instead of a T-Rex, but the T-Rex will work fine. 30# injectors that you are working with will be fine.

Don't push the blower past 6 psi, anything more and you are pushing the limits of the blower.
