LOL No, no inbreeding going on (how would that work?)

LOL I find it funny, we were the only fox bodies at the show and both T-tops. lol How rare is that? His 86 is fully stock, just needs a better coat of paint (no rust or bondo, just real bad paint).

Man I love 85&86s. I've been looking to get me another 85(or 86) and make it my daily driver. When I have the extra money I can't find one and when I don't they are everywhere. I have to agree 100% that the mach1 wheels look great on your car.

I swear, Mach 1 rims were made for Fox's. If i ever go 5 lug i'm seriously contemplating some new school deep dish Mach 1's.

Start looking for a set now. They are very quickly going extinct. I bought mine 6 months before I was ready to do a 5 lug swap because I was afraid they'd be gone by time time I was ready. The original FRPP ones are no longer produced, but a company called AFS makes reproduction ones in various sizes, but only sporadically. They will make a batch of X wheels and then sell them off until they're gone. Then, they won't make another batch until they get enough people wanting to buy the wheels to justify it. When I was on the market for my wheels, they were sold out of the DD Machs, but it looks like they have some right now.

My front wheels are FRPP 17x8, my rears are AFS 17x9. AFS only does 17x9 and up, so if you want the 17x8 fronts, start surfing the classifieds and ebay.

The ones i wanted looked a lot like 17 inch Magnum 500s, but the spokes were thinner. I don't remember who made them. They were popping up on a lot of the Mach 1s when they were new.
