So my sister just got this, its a 2005 mustang gt. I know these cars are loud, but it does not sound stock..
Help :shrug:

That air intake and conical filter are not stock. As for the rest of it, There's no way to know based upon a picture of the top of your engine.

What I CAN tell you is that it is SUPER COMMON for folks to buy these cars and do three things right off the bat.

1. Swap the OEM airbox
2. Swap the OEM cat-back exhaust for an after market
3. Put a programmable tuner on the car

Do they help? Meh... debatable depending on what they got. Does it make it louder? Ummm... yeah, that's why they do it in the first place.

Will you impress the Mustang world with all the new found horse power? Probably not, and it's just as likely that the parts are not as good a combo as the stock parts were and the car lost a couple horses (potential for poor exhaust scavenging).
