Noisy Tires

The car is my 2012 V6 with the Pirelli 18" tires and 19K miles. I have noticed significant road noise as of late and was basically wondering WTF. The noise does not change with the road surface. It's most noticeable at around 40 mph and is quite annoying. So I went on the net and read some reviews of the tires. It seems that noise is a problem with them once they start accumulating the miles. I'd like to change them out with some Goodyear Eagle LS or RS-A tires but hate to dish out the money because of the current set being so new. One reviewer went to the dealer with the problem and was told that it wasn't their problem. Apparently Pirelli has also turned a deaf ear to the issue.

My son figures that's why the Shaker sound system is in the car. Either that or rolled down windows fixes the problem!

Anyone else have this issue?

The LS is not a performance tire period. But do wear nice when you keep up on the tire rotations and alignments. The RSAs are more of a touring performance tire and are not really worth a damn from my experience. They come factory on a lot of cars, but don't last very long, on average, for their medeoker performance.
