Has anyone been able to get a coupon code from the AM guys lately? I PM'ed a couple of them last week, and still no response.

I know Stangnet isn't nearly as active as it was 10 years ago. But I didn't think it was dead and forgotten.

Do you actually have good luck with them?
Every time I've ordered through them I'm always getting something f*cked up or completely wrong. I'll only through LRS nowadays.

I have had good luck with them as well. Three fairly big and multiple part orders all the way up here to Canada. All came within 6 days, correct and complete. Going to order some stuff from LRS tonight, they seem to have better selection of better brands. I hope I have the same results.

I have also had no problems with AM. Bought my stuff at 9AM, and it was at the Carrier the same day. Exactly what I ordered in perfect condition. I also order to LMR. I like their prices better, and they are also very customer service oriented, which I love. LMR is my first stop, then AM if they don't have what I am looking for.

Yeah American Muscle isn't so customer service oriented... was asking about an sct chip and kinda got shot down since I didn't build the engine or know internals. You would think they would try to offer suggestions but no such

Yeah, now that you mention it, we have had trouble with them just recently.

We had a complete set of antracite rims from them, all the same size.
A year or so later, my son decides he wants to stagger, so he orders 2 of the exact same rims, but 10" wide.
They come and aren't even close to the same color... They pretty much told us to eat s**t and live with it.
They said that people complain all the time that replacement rims don't match, and it was a supplier issue, and... well, they weren't going to do anything about it.

I am glad you reminded me of this. I am not doing business with them ever again.

Edit:
We didn't just buy 2 rims on that order either!
We bought 2 rims, plus 4 tires. 2-315s and 2-245s.
I think some Gorilla tools/locking lugs as well.
A nice fat order IMO.

I think the guy in their wheel department is just like
"yeah... that's close enough" and just ships out whatever lol

I think these were left over 'hyper-silvers' they had laying in the werehouse and needed to pawn off on someone.
They ARE, without a doubt, silver, not anthracite. Even the pics we sent them they look identical to the discontinued hyper-silvers in their catalog.
Either we were just the poor suckers they shafted to get rid of these lemon rims they couldn't sell, or they honestly sent us hyper-silvers by accident. They are not antracite, but the guy was like "Hyper-silver has been discontinued, and we'd never make that mistake, even if they still made them." He didn't even consider it for a single second. Just because they were discontinued doesn't mean you didn't have a couple left in a corner. These don't even have a smidge of charcoal tone to them. So our 94 has gunmetal/charcoal/anthracite rims on the front, and silver/argent rims on the rear, and it's obvious.

Anyway, I am all worked up now, and I'll get off my soapbox...
Just don't expect customer service if you deal with AM.

I actually had really good customer service from them. I called them up and told the guy how I got Cobra 4 lug wheels instead of Saleen 5 lugs and his was response was "oh shoot... I'm so sorry. I'll get right on this" and he sent me call tags for the wheels. So really no harm no foul since I ended up with what I purchased. But it just sucks to shell out a significant chunk of change, get excited when the UPS guy comes, and then you find out you got the wrong wheels lol

I ordered from them A LONG time ago, like 2002 or 2003. I want to say they were first starting and it really just seemed like a small business. They didn't mess anything up, and had the best price (which is why I was willing to try them at the time). Then they blew up and I was hearing about them on all the forums. A lot of friends have had good experiences with them recently.

I've never really had any problems dealing with any vendors like AM, LRS, NPD, Summit, etc...

I dealt with them in person at there car show in pa I got tockicos from them and poly ISos , I other wise order from lmr I like there selection and they have awesome customer service

Regardless if you spent 10$ or 10,000$ they should still do the right thing when it comes to customer service. That is totally unacceptable business practice and I wouldn't do any more business with them either!
