The deck lid is nice and straight now. I will primer the topside with two more coats of primer and do a finish blocking. I'm getting ready to turn it over to reseam seal it here shortly.

I got the underneath side all sanded down and masked up for seam sealing. It'll get done in the morning. I'll use that blue fine line tape to run the final line I want before using flowable seam sealer.

Hey @Davedacarpainter not to derail or anything but did you continue your write-up of the minitubs you were doing on Robby from The Foxbody Painting 101 thread? If so, can post the link please? Thanks. :D
Btw, it was doby that had that done to her. I like my girls with a little extra meat in the rear! DOBY stands for Dirty Old B*tch, just so you know.

Ok, it really started here, by this time, i had already used a knotted wire wheel to remove the factory sprayed seam sealer/sound deadener by this point.

It will be hard to believe, but there will be countless posts concerning alcohol and general debauchery prior to them being done. I mostly blame @madmike1157 and @stykthyn for this possibly @RaggedGT .I'm usually pure as the wind driven snow.....:nice:http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/my-1986-t-top-build-brake-fluid-enema.888084/page-61

Believe it or not, it goes to page 83!

Evicting a tenant from a house I live 4 hours away from. Was hoping a hurricane would have knocked it down this year. Of well. I can always pray for next year.

That was my bad, I had the names mixed up. I was referring to the red car. But thanks for the clarification....and the link. I'm in sponge-mode these days. Just soaking up knowledge all over these threads. I almost feel like I felt back in 1999 when I first joined Stangnet. :D:nice:

Pile of parts?
Floor pans, front/ rear coil overs, majier flares, tubular K member, slick interior parts, t56, a turbo to match the Jack stands in the garage...... all the makings to a beginning and probably most spectacular/catastrophic end of a build thread if I could ever find the time.

'99! Damn, my youngest son was still a bun in the oven back then. I was a baby of 37 and my oldest was still a teenager, seems forever ago....

Sponge mode is a good thing, i'm there with you on that. I've been spending a little time on FEP because they have quite a bit of info on the essex V6.

No way! You do not have a stack of parts that are as cool as that!

I'm jealous of you sir!

Majier flares? I want more info here.
