The deck lid is nice and straight now. I will primer the topside with two more coats of primer and do a finish blocking. I'm getting ready to turn it over to reseam seal it here shortly.
Btw, it was doby that had that done to her. I like my girls with a little extra meat in the rear! DOBY stands for Dirty Old B*tch, just so you know.Hey @Davedacarpainter not to derail or anything but did you continue your write-up of the minitubs you were doing on Robby from The Foxbody Painting 101 thread? If so, can post the link please? Thanks.

Ok, it really started here, by this time, i had already used a knotted wire wheel to remove the factory sprayed seam sealer/sound deadener by this point.
It will be hard to believe, but there will be countless posts concerning alcohol and general debauchery prior to them being done. I mostly blame @madmike1157 and @stykthyn for this possibly @RaggedGT .I'm usually pure as the wind driven snow.....http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-forums/threads/my-1986-t-top-build-brake-fluid-enema.888084/page-61
Believe it or not, it goes to page 83!
Sorry man-sure that's a real pain to doEvicting a tenant from a house I live 4 hours away from. Was hoping a hurricane would have knocked it down this year. Of well. I can always pray for next year.
Well, i'll be damned if that doesn't sound fun.Evicting a tenant from a house I live 4 hours away from. Was hoping a hurricane would have knocked it down this year. Of well. I can always pray for next year.
It's whatever. The legal process is the easy part. Getting it rented back out again is the kick in the nuts. I could have a new tenant next month or it could take 6 months.Sorry man-sure that's a real pain to do
Would rather be working on the pile of parts I have for the old foxbody.Well, i'll be damned if that doesn't sound fun.
That was my bad, I had the names mixed up. I was referring to the red car. But thanks for the clarification....and the link. I'm in sponge-mode these days. Floor pans, front/ rear coil overs, majier flares, tubular K member, slick interior parts, t56, a turbo to match the Jack stands in the garage...... all the makings to a beginning and probably most spectacular/catastrophic end of a build thread if I could ever find the time.Pile of parts?
'99! Damn, my youngest son was still a bun in the oven back then. I was a baby of 37 and my oldest was still a teenager, seems forever ago....That was my bad, I had the names mixed up. Sponge mode is a good thing, i'm there with you on that. I've been spending a little time on FEP because they have quite a bit of info on the essex V6.

You do not have a stack of parts that are as cool as that!Floor pans, front/ rear coil overs, majier flares, tubular K member, slick interior parts, t56, a turbo to match the Jack stands in the garage...... all the makings to a beginning and probably most spectacular/catastrophic end of a build thread if I could ever find the time.
