    Getting a new/old 5.0

    Looking into an 87-93, 5.0. When I sold mine about 10 years ago, 306, 331's and 347's were the HP motors to have. What's the latest and greatest? What are people using now?

    Adjusting fuel pressure

    It's been a while since I did this. When hooking up a guage to read the pressure the vacuum hose will be unplugged. Do I cover the hose or FPR when taking a reading?? Thanks for any help!

    Put new plugs in

    Plugs, wires, cap & rotor. The gap on the old plugs was .082! :shock: That splains the pinging! :D

    Charging problems

    If I drive with the lights off, it starts up fine the next morning. If I drive with the lights ON, the next morning the battery is dead. New batt, & new alt. Any suggestions?

    Removed oil baffle/Now losing oil

    I removed the oil baffle to put on 1.7 RR's. Ever since it has been losing oil. I thought it would be through the hose going to the TB. But someone else on this site said I was losing it through my PCV valve. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Anti freeze in oil?

    How do you tell if there is anti freeze in the oil? Doesn't it separate? Or does the oil turn green?
