    I'm getting ready to swap out the factory diff lube in my 07 GT. Has anyone had experience with Lucas synthetic 75W140 without adding friction modifier? Lucas says its not needed, but Ford recommends it in the manual. My thoughts are to add it, but I'm wondering if it could get "too slippery"...

    Engine Plug Swap on a 4.6 3-V

    Anyone have opinions on the best stuff to initially loosen the 'stuck' plugs on a 4.6L 3-valve. I was considering either PBBlaster or Aerokroil. Some say regular carb cleaner, but there must be something better.:shrug:

    Trans oil in my 07 GT with a manual 5 speed

    The owner's guide says to use 'Mercon', which to my understanding is Dexron III in the 5 speed manuals....anyone disagree with using Mercon V?:shrug: I see that Ford has switched over to that spec in the steering systems. It should be as good or better for the trans.
