Engine BAP Sensor stop working out of the blue?

Has anyone ever had a BAP sensor go bad, suddenly, while driving? Doing new UPR front and rear suspension, and a rear rebuild, on a friend's healthy 347 powered 89 LX coupe. Did the rear suspension, and buttoned up the rear gears/bearings yesterday. Decided to go for a test drive, to make sure...

    Not "new", But Renew...

Was poking around yesterday looking for some info on the old PMS systems, and stumbled upon this site. Tried my old log on, and it worked. Had been since 2006 since I have been logged on...lol. Have had some decent cars, some in the magazines, some winners on the dragstrip. Probably an easy...

    My Dyno vid from Saturday

Here's my best dyno pull from this past Saturday at the SuperStallions of the Net Spring track rental at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland. This was a nitrous run. It made 372rwhp/425rwtq on this pull. FWIW, it made 286rwhp/309rwtq naturally aspirated...

    Lots of new numbers today

I dynoed this morning before running the car, just to make sure everything was "safe". Baseline numbers were pig rich. With a few keystrokes of the PMS, I ended with an average air/fuel ratio of 12.7 naturally aspirated, and an average of 12.1 with the nitrous. Below are the dyno numbers as well...

How would these be on my Chrome Yellow 94??

Car presently has 17x9 & 17x10.5 Chrome Bullitts, but in the interest of being different (yet again), I am considering selling the Bullitts, and trying these...Sizing would be 17x8's w/245/45's on the front, and Nitto 315/35 Drag Radials on the rear, on 17x9.5's... Good or Bad, let's hear the...

    Wheel "corrosion"???

I have this white powdery looking stuff going on with my wheels. Around the lugnuts, and behind the actual chrome face....like the backs of the wheels, I guess you could say... It wipes pretty much right off with a finger, but it can't be good for the long term... What should I use to remove...

First Impressions of new PMS unit (and a couple more pics)

I installed my new (and revised for 2004) PMS unit yesterday and have posted my thoughts about it. Let me also add, that for us 94-95 owners with mods, I have gotten an almost stock type idle out of it in less than an hour. Something that was never obtainable with the custom burned Fordchip I...
