    Coolant coming out of exhaust on rebuilt 302

    I found a rebuilt block for $200 with 50 miles on it. The guy that is sellin it was told it was leaking coolant out of the exhaust because his Track Heat heads werent compatible (holes dont line up) which doesnt sound right. Anyone know what could be causing this? Bad heads or cracked block...

    I have a chance to get an entire 302 motor w/trans out of an 88 lincoln TC for 200$. The motor still runs good but the body is trashed. I dont think it is an HO motor. I have heard that a non HO is not the same firing order, intake etc. I only want it for the block so I can rebuild the short...

    Which shortblock should I get???

    I just decided to buy a new shortblock since I found out today that my rings are bad and I need a rebuild. I narrowed it down to 2 because I am on a budget and am trying to spend about $1,500 or less. Either a Ford racing 302 or a DSS Racing base Bullet 306. Which would you get?

    plugs keep fouling

    This is the 2nd time in 6 months that my #6 & 7 plugs were fouled,the rest were fine. One was dry and had alot carbon build up on it and the other had oil and soot all over it, you couldnt even see the gap. Could it be Bad rings? :shrug:

    Random misfiring...please help!

    My stang is misfiring and sputtering bad when ever it feels like it. I drove it 4 seperate times today and it happened twice. Yesterday It happened only on the way to work then it was fine for the rest of the day. I put new plugs,wires,cap,rotor a week ago and that didnt change anything. Help...

    Bad alternator or wrong belt?

    I did the 3g upgrade a week ago and due to the bigger 2.5 inch pulley I had to get a bigger serpentine belt. I went from a 90.5 belt to a 93.0 and now I get a loud screach at start up.     Doing 3G upgrade, need alt pulley size.

    I am in the process of finishing up the 3G alternator upgrade on my 91 GT. The alternator I bought from pep boys came with a 2.75 inch pulley. Do I use a bigger belt or get a smaller pulley?
