    6g to 3g

    anyone know if its possible to replace the 99-04 6g alternator with a 96-98 3g?? reason i ask is a 200 amp 6g is about $290 and a 200 amp 3g is only $220 :D it looks like they both use the same mounting/pulley configuration, and im sure i would just need to splice in a new connector here...

    wheel painting questions...

    so im paintings some aluminum cobra's... they are plain aluminum with clear coat, and paint inside the spokes (97 cobras if u know waht im talking about) do i need to sand all the clear coat off? i got most of it off the flat surfaces, but its really difficult to get all of it off the insides...

    difficult shifting...

    hey ive got a 02 v6, but its got the T5 behind it, thats the same tranny the 5.0s use, correct? okay well it has always been a really notchy tranny, but just reccently, its been kinda hard to shift into the gears... could teh clutch be going bad, or need adjusting?

    insufficent EGR flow...

    my car keeps throwing a code for insufficent EGR flow... so i reset it and pulled the EGR vavle off thinking maybe it was clogged but, it looked brand new, so i guess maybe its not opening.... anyone know how to fix this? i just want that stupid light to go off, and i may be loosing mileage from...

    front spring stuck

    i have looked at tons of articles about taking the springs out, and it looks like once you get the pressure out of the spring, it shold come right out.. well i have the pressure off of mine, but it is stuck to the bottom A arm.. it wont budge... almost as if its welded in there... anyone else...

    got it primed.... now what?

    ok, i am painting my hood and cowl, (hood flew up while driving) and have gotten the bodywork done, and have sprayed the primer... do i need to sand on the primer before spraying the base coat? the primer is pretty rough, and looks like it would need to be sanded... also, after i spray the base...
