    Stalling issue

    Ideas? :shrug: (only) On hotter days(35+c) in slower light to light traffic Ive had it (89lx) stall out like it was starving for gas. Go to restart and its like the cats are kicking/bucking like crazy. Let the car cool down a few and it goes away like nothing happened....Is this what considered...

    rug burns

    Need ideas/pics on what to replace the rear carpted area with where the 3rd brake light is on a 89 coupe. Im told the OEM piece is NLA and unable to find a decent used part. The sound system isnt huge but Id like to keep the speakers clear. :cheers:

    When installing a 3G 130amp alternator is a 200amp inline fuse the only size that should be used(as listed in the PA Performance wire kit) or is a 150amp sufficiant ? :shrug:

    dust shield removal

    Just purchased new front rotors for an 89. Small thing, rotors(Raybestos)are correct in everyway except for the external casting on the inboard side rubs very slightly on the dust shield(flanged portion).Bearings are also correct(A5 and A12) Yes, I know Ford are much better rotors but I only...

    Not sure this qualifies as 'tech' but...Car has stock alt/BBK pullies(for now) anyone modded/altered/changed from the stock turn signal relay to get a faster blink rate or will changing over to the 3g alt solve this? I rememeber it being on the slow side even before pullies ??? cheers :nice:

    test drive

    battery size ?

    I did a search under "Optima" hoping to get the model/size for an 89. Understand the 'redtop' model is best , but do I need a certain part # ?(the optima site had no listing for 89-93 mustangs... cheers

    lubed

    picked up a used pro5.0 shifter for a T5 recently and disassembled it to clean out the crud that had collected. :shrug: what lube(if any) do you use on it. concerned that using the wrong kind may break down and soften the nylon bushing. thanks in advance
