Timing Marks on 98 Cobra (pics)

I'm a bit worried because the timing marks on my motor do not line up. When the heads were installed, I wasn't around (done by respected NJ shop) and I was able to turn a 13.3 with a forged 302 (VT Engines) with FRPP cams, headers, underdrive pully, 4.10's. Now I'm wondering what 1 tooth...

    Oil Cooler HELL!

I'm tired of this worthless oil cooler on the 4.6L and would like to do away with it. Are there any replacement or delete packages that would move the filter and eliminate the need for this leaky contraption?? Someone mentioned a piece that was called Evans Replacement but I couldn't find...

    Spun Bearing- need shortblock

I've noticed many shops, like VT, MMR, CHP, etc. that offer forged shortblocks. My question is: Which would be the best for a shortblock that will be shipped for installation in my home garage? Some require cores, others don't, some have billet oil pumps, others don't. I guess what...

    Can't finance a pop-tart?

Even if you can't "pay attention"- you can get financed until the end of the week (delivery by 8/31) REGARDLESS of credit tier (ie, level 3,4,5) which is a godsend for those with blemished credit. This excludes Ford GT, F-650, 750, and LCF Trucks. So.. if you want a Mustang GT and are...

    Oil on top of motor

After going WOT in 1st gear, I noticed that I blew some motor oil ON TOP of the motor, and it settled on the passenger side valve cover where the bolts go.. that relief in the valve cover for the bolts. Could this be a faulty PVC valve? Any ideas?

    Predator Article

http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2005/02/DevilsAdvocate/index.php It is funny to think that twenty years ago, when Ford Mustangs were introduced with computer controlled engine systems, many people felt it signified the end of hot rodding. "EFI and EEC controlled engines will be too...
