Does this dyno tell you anything?

I know very little about my 2012 GT500 because the dealer I got it from didn't know anything. Can you tell much from the dyno as far as possible upgrades? I know it does have a Whipple 2.9L SC with a 3" upper. 629 HP 646 TQ Thanks

How To Get Rid Of O2 Codes After Installing Headers

I have installed Performance long tube headers and exhaust cutouts and I'm trying to get a tune for my SCT XCALIBRATOR 4 but they won't program me a tune until I can clear all O2 codes. The long tube headers removed my converters so I'm getting the O2 codes. Any ideas how to get around this and...

Engine Windshield Fogging Up When I Open The Temp Control

My 1965 convertibles windshield fogs up real bad on a cold day when I open the temp control or heat. What would cause this problem? A small leak in the heater core perhaps? Turning on the fan just makes it worse. Thanks

    Replacing headlight assembly's ?

I got this 2006 Pony Packaged mustang last week and it has a lot of MODs. I think I would rather have the original headlight assemblies than what it has now. I don't have the originals so I'll need to buy them, but how much trouble am I looking at to swap back? Was there any special wiring done...

1994 Cobra Or 1998 Gt Convertible?

I'm trying to make up my mind between 2 ponies. A 1994 black Cobra and a black 1998 GT convertible. Both have a very close nada value. I can get the 94 Cobra for $3,500 and the 98 GT convertible for $2,000. The 98 is an automatic and the Cobra a standard. Both have leather interior. I like both...

Well I got my classic muscle, but!

Ever since I had my 1970 Mach 1, and sold it, I have been trying to find another. I've gone through some 7 other ponies that were great cars but just not what I call a muscle pony. Well I just bought a 1973 Mach 1 Q code that is without a doubt muscle because it has been built to be a 1/4 mile...

Got my special pony home (picture heavy)

After a week of waiting, which seemed like months, I was finally able to get the owner down to buy the new project. Loaded it up and brought it home for a closer inspection. It is indeed an early 1965(1964 1/2) and it still has the original 260 not a 289. I was curious when I saw from the...

Missed an great buy now which should I choose?

I got a call from my nephew telling me of some ponies for sell. The old trash man had collected these mustangs over the years while picking up peoples trash. He had passed away and now his family was selling off the collection. I thought I had bought a 1965 289 convertible in incredible...

    289 HiPo parts?

I have decided to take my 289 HiPo and trade it for a good project car. I want to add the few things it is missing like exhaust manifolds, dual point distributor, intake and main caps. If you remember my engine was all HiPo but had the standard main caps for some reason. My question is how...

My new 95 GT convertible project

Just bought this 95 GT convert needing some TLC. I've owned many many pony's over the years but this is my first of this generation. I saw it at a off street car lot and had been wanting to get me a convertible for summer. I looked it over for about 2 weeks and haggled with the lot until I got a...

    HiPo or not?

I bought a new project pony, a 1965 coupe C code, that someone has put a 6 cylinder in when it was originally a 289 v2. So I put an add in Craig's List looking for a 289 and I get a cal from a 70 year old guy who says he has several and one is a 66 HiPo. I was more interested in a 1964 289 with...

    Another should I buy question

For me this ones seems to be more of a if it's accurate I'd be crazy not to buy. I've been looking for a good project and came across this 1965 coupe for $2,000. It looks pretty solid and the interior looks redone or extremely nice. It also looks as if it's the early 65(1964 1/2) because I...

    Skinny on the 351

So what is the skinny on the 351? My 1971 Grande decodes to have had a 351 2V(H) and I'm being told it would have been a 351C. A search on the Internet gave some information but I'm still confused about some of it. I read in 1971 they didn't make the 351W thats why my mustang would have had...

    My new project

I have been looking for a new mustang project since I sold my last one 4 years ago. I'm not that keen on the later coupes, but hey, it's a mustang. It is a 1971 Grande that originally was equipped with a 351 2V and a C-4 automatic. It looks to be very complete other than no motor. I think the...

Can't get my car out of 2nd gear

I was headed down to get gas and for no apparent reason it stuck in 2nd gear. I have never had any problems before. No hard shifting, no noise no nothing. It's the three-speed manual transmission that came out in the car. What can I try to get it free? I have tried rocking the car and moving the...
