Ok I'll have to do some more research i just been so busy trying to get everything installed that I already have I haven't spent much time figureing out where to get the rest of the parts I need. Got the motor and trans all mated up tonight I should have it in the car mocked up tomorrow.

Does anyone know where I could find a detailed walkthrough of a TKO 600 install?? I have searched the forum and tried googleing it with no luck.

Are the wires longer than needed? I'm not gonna build a showcar by any means but I'm super fussy about wiring ever since I had one catch fire years ago that I wired.

I'm switching it over to carb. I was hoping to use a new harness that way I can update the fuze box to the mini fuzes etc. Plus that way I can have a clearly labeled setup that doesn't have 100 wires I will have to delete.

Anyone ever rewire a fox and if so what kit/company did you use??

I had the motor built at T&L Engine Development in NC. I'm gonna run it with a TKO 600 with a 0.62 top gear and 3.73's I'm told that it should run 2500 rpm at 75 mph. With a 7300 rpm redline. Sounds a little high to me but they gave me a 2 year warrenty on it.

I'm tearing in hot and heavy to my 89 notch (4cyl) I got the 8.8 swaped in the other day from a 96 and I tore the whole front suspension and K member out from under it tonight. I have a set of brakes and spindles from a 95 GT I am putting on it. I know that it is supposed to widen the track 3/4...

This god damn thing will not come. I'm going to smash it off there with a hammer. Does anyone have a extra one they can sell?

Anybody know a surefire way to get it out of gear?

Ok took off the tailhousing. BUt cover still stuck on something. I got the instrction shifted it as far as it will go towards the drainplug side. But it will not come off. I've tried everything but beating it off with a hammer. Any Ideas????

I tried punching out the pin that holds the shifter cup on. And it still won't come off. ANyone got any ideas. Anything come on ppl help!!!!

See all I did was take the bolts ou tof the top cover and then cut the silcone away and it just sort of pulled out. But its connected to the rod that connect to the shifter right. We'll I was going to say to heck with it and put it back together but now it won't go. I didn't want to take it...

What I really want is for it to go back together lol. I can get it almost lined up but its like 1/4 inch short of lining up. I'v etried about everything but it just won't go. If I take off the shifter cup do you think it will freei t up far enough to line back up with the holes?

So I can do that with no further disasembly. I'm not trying to rebuild it thats out of my league I just wanted to look inside lol.

Try Esslinger I'd go to either Racer Walsh or Esslingers website. It will give youideas on whats avaible and then you can makea more informed desicion on how to spend your money more wisely. If it was me I'd do the head.
