I had to trim mine with a dremmel.

I have my ipod hooked up in my stang through a cassette adaptor. It works great and the sound quality is just as good as the cd player produces.

I have had an auto and a 5 spd both. I love my 5 spd I feel like I have so much more control than with an auto and to me driving never gets old when I'm shifting through gears.
