    Tripminder - anyone put one in an '89?

    I picked up a tripminder at a J/Y to put into my '88 TurboCoupe and then I got another to see if I could put it into my '89LX 'stang. Has anyone put one of these into their mustang before? I'm not sure yet 'how' it will fit or 'where' to install it but I'm curious about the wiring and signals.

    Never mind. I figured it out. :doh: Duh.....take the set screw out, take the mirror off the window, flip the mirror over and pry each light assy out. The bulbs look like GE192's. Something along the lines of heavy duty flashlight bulbs.

    I found some water pump 'anti scale/lube' at napa. After 50mi the whine has 'greatly' decreased. I'm crossing my fingers.

    Can you guys recommend some brands of parts? I've read that some people have problems with their new lifters. Which brands did you use? Do you like or dis-like certain other engine components? (bearings, seals, etc?)
